Birdie
Video Monitoring and Recording Device
Birdie is a video monitoring and recording device that aids new home owners unpack their belongings. It records them as they pack and generates a sticker with a box number when the box has been packed. Through its smart object detection technology, it sends the recorded data to an app on your phone. When the user then unpacks, they can search for the item to find out which box it is in.
Research
Unpacking after moving is an overwhelming and stressful process for new home owners. When there are dozens of boxes assigned to a particular room, it is nearly impossible to guess which box has the particular item that they are searching for.
